Once the methodology is ironed out, how do you plan to invest? Will you make a lump sum investment in your top picks, or add monthly to an updated list, etc.? Looking forward to following along!

I will make a lump sum investment and likely won’t be contributing to this portfolio.

But I’ll share my idea on how this could also work with periodic contributions.

I’ve already cut down the original 171 stocks down to 86. Several didn’t fit the valuation model and others were eliminated by tightening the screener. I’m still working on the list but I hope to have another update soon.

The ratings I used come directly from Morningstar, it is a paid subscription service. Alternatively your broker may also be able to provide these. For example my Schwab brokerage account lists Morningstar data for most stocks.

Another indicator of a strong management team is consistency and growth in financials. If management is doing a good job the business will look strong.
